Holiday card art
Trying out a new technique I think I’m liking–acrylics on 140 lb. Montval watercolor. The color is laid down a little more loose and painterly. I’m going to use this illustration for holiday promo cards.

Amazing! How do you do this?! Your ability to paint straight lines floors me! I’ve tried painting and everything I do looks like a cartoon when I really am going for realistic! Too cool Laura!

Beautiful card! I love using acrylics on bristol paper and then layer with colored pencils. It gives a pastel like quality and layers of colors. Yours is quite dazzling!!
